The Learning Technology Center (LTC)

 The Learning Technology Center (LTC) is located in Room 211 on the second floor of the Main Building. The LTC operates from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and on Fridays from 8:00 AM to noon. You can contact the office at (575) 234-9259 & 234-9263. The LTC provides technology support for Southeast New Mexico College faculty, staff, and students. Its goals include training faculty and students on the Canvas learning management system, SENMC access portal, and other web technologies for teaching and learning. Additionally, the LTC fosters professional development for faculty and staff, assists faculty in enhancing course design and online learning development, and supports students with technology-related issues. For students, the LTC offers training and support in the following areas:

·         Canvas interface and course navigation features.

·         Anthology: Lion's Den.

·         Setting up SENMC accounts

·         Access to SENMC platforms (SENMC email, two-factor authentication)

·         Fundamentals of Mobile Learning Devices

·         Cloud storage solutions (OneDrive and Google Drive)

·         Microsoft 365 applications, including Zoom and Teams, are third-party programs integrated into the suite, along with courses such as Pearson Labs and Cengage Labs, among others. For more information, visit us at https://senmc.edu/ltc/index.html.

 

SENMC Student Accounts

All students enrolled in credit courses at Southeast New Mexico College receive student account credentials that enable them to log into classroom computers and other computer labs and connect to the Wi-Fi while taking classes. This account also provides students access to server-based storage for their homework.
